Benoit Blin

Benoit said that “I see it as assuming a responsibility as one of the best pastry chefs in England, and with that comes the need to ensure that the work I produce is always done to the best of my ability and the highest standards of excellence”.

Martin said that it had been a very stressful time “but worth every moment.”

André enthused that he was “over the moon. It is a real test of your ability as a chef, as well as being a very personal award, because you are competing against yourself”.

On 17th November 2005, the three Masters of Culinary Arts were presented to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales at Clarence House. Their audience lasted over one hour when The Prince enthusiastically engaged in an inspired and meaningful discussion about the industry.
